Wanted to show some of the jars I made for the children to place their flowers they brought their teachers for appreciation week.
This is a side view
Here they are in the bin ready for delivery.
I used the close to my heart cart artiste. I can't say enough great things about it, it's so versatile. I love all the images on it. I recommend for this image to make sure you use a good mat and fresh blade, I was toward the end of mine and had a hard time knocking out all the little intricate pieces. Thank goodness my mom helped, I had almost 30 to make. I designed with Microsoft word for the circular wording and a strip of paper to wrap around the jar. I was hoping the atg adhesive would be strong enough but some came apart. Next time, I will use ribbon to wrap round and possibly the red tacky tape.
Hello everyone! I recently downloaded the blogger app so now I'm able to get on more hopefully! I was on my daughters school PTO and made various crafts. I recently bought the martha stewart circle maker from HSN. I used it to make a doily for a gift to the teachers for teacher appreciation week.
I love using it! I got many compliments on it. And now it hangs on the cabinet doors in the teachers lounge.
We purchased various k-cups for the teachers to enjoy.
This punch kit came with other designs but this one I love the most. I have made a layout with it too. It can make circles from 6 inches to 12. The hardest part when cutting out a 12 in. circle is making sure you have it directly in the center of the paper.
Hello crafty crafters!
I have returned to show you something I help create for my sister's friend who was graduating nursing school. Of course, I went in Pinterest for some inspiration. I bought dr. check up for this project. Here's some of the stuff I created.
Here is the banner all together
We also made labels for the medicine bottle treats. My sister helped create the label using Avery.com. I highly recommend using it to print your own.
We also made these. It was my first time working with candy melts.
Here is a shot of all the decor we put up and made.
She loved it and I was happy to help. I love making banners and it was fun.
I have been missing connecting with you! My thoughts would drift back to you and all the fun things we shared. I would giggle at some of the stuff you posted( You sure were funny!) and you would give me great advice or the pat on the back I needed.
I learned so much from you and love watching you grow and show me all the new things you've learned. I still think of you often and wish we had more time together...
So in honor of you I will post this
I was inspired to make these pencil toppers from Crafting With Katie on You Tube. Her channel is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jz7-ofn8FNw&list=WL15B4470E1A0740F3. I had to modify the pencil holes because my pencils were too big to fit in the ones she showed on her video. I made over 40 of these for my daughter's classmates and my girl scout troop. I also made santa claus ones but forgot to take pics of them. Thank you for always inspiring me to try new things.
Gina from Ginascraftingspot.com helped me make over 300 of these invitations for my daughter's school for it's annual daddy-daughter dance.
Aren't they great! I am so lucky and blessed to have such a great family. My Aunt, Mom and Daughter helped out and many people at school thought they were great. I can't thank Gina enough for all her hard work. It's her design and it's just perfect!
I finally get some time to sit down and post things and I can't. For some reason, I can't upload pics on here. I have been a busy bee and will show you later when blogger lets me share with you some crafty things I've completed. Thanks Karen for the shout outs. I have chatting with ya!
I really do! I am so crazy busy lately I haven't had a chance to complete any projects. I miss sitting at my desk and having the chance to create and lose myself in a project. I have so many new ideas and can't wait to create them. I am looking forward to Christmas break!!
