Helping out a friend :)

Hello crafty crafters!
I have returned to show you something I help create for my sister's friend who was graduating nursing school. Of course, I went in Pinterest for some inspiration. I bought dr. check up for this project. Here's some of the stuff I created.

Here is the banner all together
We also made labels for the medicine bottle treats. My sister helped create the label using Avery.com. I highly recommend using it to print your own.
We also made these. It was my first time working with candy melts.

Here is a shot of all the decor we put up and made.
She loved it and I was happy to help. I love making banners and it was fun.

Thanks for looking!

A Little Inspiration from my friends...

Howdy Hey there!

I have been missing connecting with you! My thoughts would drift back to you and all the fun things we shared. I would giggle at some of the stuff you posted( You sure were funny!) and you would give me great advice or the pat on the back I needed.

I learned so much from you and love watching you grow and show me all the new things you've learned. I still think of you often and wish we had more time together...

So in honor of you I will post this

I was inspired to make these pencil toppers from Crafting With Katie on You Tube. Her channel is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jz7-ofn8FNw&list=WL15B4470E1A0740F3. I had to modify the pencil holes because my pencils were too big to fit in the ones she showed on her video. I made over 40 of these for my daughter's classmates and my girl scout troop. I also made santa claus ones but forgot to take pics of them. Thank you for always inspiring me to try new things.

Until the next project,

My Cousin Gina rocks!

Hello there Crafty peoples!

Gina from Ginascraftingspot.com helped me make over 300 of these invitations for my daughter's school for it's annual daddy-daughter dance.

Aren't they great! I am so lucky and blessed to have such a great family. My Aunt, Mom and Daughter helped out and many people at school thought they were great. I can't thank Gina enough for all her hard work. It's her design and it's just perfect!

Now on to make the corsages again this year. Will post when
Thanks again Gina! Be sure to visit her blog and You tube channel, http://www.youtube.com/user/CTMHGina

Thanks for stopping by!

I miss CRAFTING!! :(

I really do! I am so crazy busy lately I haven't had a chance to complete any projects. I miss sitting at my desk and having the chance to create and lose myself in a project. I have so many new ideas and can't wait to create them. I am looking forward to Christmas break!!

I'm a lucky girl!

Hello My Crafty Friends!

I have been one busy momma! So many things have happened and I don't even know where to start. We had a tragedy in the end of September so I was unable to send out that card for the Feel the Love project. I was out of town for a bit then I was called in to start a new job at my daughter's school and THEN...was asked to be my daughter's girl scout leader so I am CRAZY busy. I did have a great thing happen in September. Look what I won from Creating keepsakes blog! http://www.creatingkeepsakesblog.com/blog/2012/09/crafting-with-chalkboard-cardstock/

I can't wait to use some of it!  I am on the hunt for all kinds of chalking materials to use on it and can't wait to be crafty!

Here is a card I made and will send out to Riley's Children's hospital this week.

Thanks for looking and Happy Halloween!!!

A Halloween Treat

Hello Hello Hello!

I am back to show you what I made for the I Feel the Love Project. Check Madison out here. She is an incredible young lady who seeks out different charities to make cards for. I found out about her through Ellen at Card Monkey. Ellen also make banners for special needs children at the hospital she works at.

This month at "I feel...", she is asking for Halloween cards for  Casa Pacifica, a facility that meets kids and families at the most challenging times of their lives and helps them overcome some of life’s most difficult circumstances, including abuse and neglect, complex emotional and behavioral issues, and family crises. She has already met her goal and has received over 80 cards. She will be giving them out to the school children.

If you would like to send a card, here's where to do it.

Submit your card/s by September 30 to:

Madison Womack

(IFTL) Funky Cards

P.O. Box 1203

Atascadero, CA 93423

I am working on some more Halloween cards and hope to send them to Riley's Children's hospital. I will post them when I am finished with them.
