I am getting into the swing of a new school year and loving my new found freedom. I am helping out at school this year again but I found time yesterday to visit a local scrapbook place I love. I am so glad they are around since another one has closed by me...kinda-she is open sometimes and she has just ordered some new stuff so I may just have to visit her when she opens again. Can't beat 50% off right? My hubby always says..."It's not how much you spent, it's how much you saved right Tisha? LOL! It's our anniversary today so I had to include his words of knowledge. ;)
Onward, so they have Make and Take Mondays which I was able to make this pillow treat box. They charge a $1 (or more)and it goes to a local charity. How awesome huh?!
I inked the pumpkins when I got home with my new purchase of Tim Holtz inks and one of the ladies showed me how to use the blending tool. I was also able to use the Big Shot Pro as well as the Sizzix Texture Boutique embossing machine.
I love walking in there to look at all the goodies and then I look at all the projects and I am so blown away with their creativity. Here are some of the ones that caught my eye.
Can you believe that this...
Can turn into this!
I am SO doing this one!! It's Canvas with a paper framed backing!
I really enjoyed my visit here. The ladies are fantastic and so knowledgable about their craft. They have classes and crops monthly. If you happen to be in NW Indiana around Crown Point, you have to stop in and check them out!
Thanks for stopping by!!
